Polehill Reserve Adventure

sophia and i left on a tramp through the trail in my backyard... we didn't know where it would lead

the hills behind my house

when we got to the end of the trail it was really windy

at the top of the hill we found these stonehenge-like structures. we couldn't figure out what they were before, if anyone has any idea let me know. turbine foundations?

the gorgeous view

we hung out for a while...

looking towards the cook strait, the very bottom of the north island

you can see this happy face from the city if you know where to look

there were lots of cool stencils inside the structures...

i see this tag everywhere in town

then we found a horse which made sophia really happy

here's the horse's friend, he was chilling out on the hill next to us

i think this is a weta, nz's very own giant cricket
