we made friends with a pony on the side of the road

we made it to the black rock beach of napier, in the hawke's bay
the town is all art deco
the adventure to come
we spent the night at our kiwi friend kaylene's house. her family was way nice, we watched rugby with them that night.
we made a quick detour to the huka falls so sophia could see
then brian took the wheel

we made another stop at the 'craters of the moon', a thermal park, lots of steam coming out of craters and it smelled like rotten eggs
