Easter Break Begins! (Welly/Napier/Taupo)

got the rental car, they upgraded us to a rav4. sweet as!


and so it begins...

we spent the night at our kiwi friend kaylene's house. her family was way nice, we watched rugby with them that night.


we made a quick detour to the huka falls so sophia could see





then brian took the wheel

we made another stop at the 'craters of the moon', a thermal park, lots of steam coming out of craters and it smelled like rotten eggs

Lower Hutt Day Trip/Tourist Pics/Earth Hour

we took a long bus ride to wainuiomata to see our friend shannon (#10) play her first rugby game. the shannonator


our team killed it, but the other team had some big ladies in their roster





we grabbed lunch in the clubhouse

lots of places downtown didn't turn their lights off for earth hour, which was disappointing, but surprisingly mcdonald's did its part, turning most of its lights off. makes sense, how much money they save if every mcdonald's in the world did this
