Interislander

on a stick!

these cicadas are everywhere, kinda weird

so apparently we got a parking ticket but it only cost us NZ$12, which is like $6 US. that's cute 

i said goodbye to the homies and made my way on the giant interislander, leaving picton harbor for wellington!

we traversed the marlborough sounds...

here i am on the observation deck, one of 9 floors on the boat. they have 2 movie theaters inside!

things got way cool as we left the south island and could see the north island in the distance

bye boat! i took a taxi to my new flat for the next 4 months and then got my first feel of the city. too much...more pics to come
